My blower motor connector is fried and I was wondering if anyone knows an option to replace it. I took my truck to Toyota today and they only sell the entire wiring harnesses, which is about a grand. Any help would be great. Thanks

Are you talking about the connector that plugs into the blower motor? If you are, you should be able to get a pigtail from one of the parts stores and splice it into the factory harness. I don't know about Toyota, but I work at Ford, and you can get oem replacement pigtails from them for different things. To me, it sounds like they just want to sell you the whole harness because they won't make hardly any money selling you just the connector.

It's been a year or so, but I actually had a Tacoma come into work and found that connector burnt. Best I remember, I put a connector, blower motor, and resistor in it and it never came back.

never burnt out a blower relay

I have replace connectors many times on many pieces of equipment over the past 35 years.

Dealers only want to replace the whole thing as they wont warranty a splice.

Happened to me on my 2012 Fusion. Went to scrap yard and got the connector, resistor and blower motor for $50.

Did the work myself and worked like a charm afterward for years.
