do you have to get an alignment after you add a spacer?

No, you only need an alignment when you change the suspension, pretty much.

I run the APR studs for a Lexus IS-300, I think APR 1100-7715 and then I have Motorsport-tech custom machines hubcebtric spacers. This route give you the most wheel options and flexibility although lug nuts can be a touch trickier because if you are not using a spacer or a very thick one you will need open ended lug nuts.

Motorsport-tech can make them to your exact measurements and they can make thinner spacers than you're normal bolt on ones. You can measure your wheels and then see how far you want them out and out that measurement in mm in order form.

I used them on my TRD sport rims I repowdercoated for winter tires and I was able to get the rim perfectly flush with the body. looks sharp when it's bang on. i think those are 13mm?

Edit: Also to be noted, I am not sure if you can get these wheel studs in without unpressing the rear bearings. I installed mine when I changed my rear bearings and had the shop do it while it was there, so, I couldn't say if this might be a possible obstacle to this approach. They are pretty long though, definitely longer than the space behind hub so if they do work they would have to kinda go in diagonal at first before the knurling. the front I do know can go in ok.

Edit Edit: Also remember by putting in big spacers, even inch is a lot, you are increasing raising your offset which will increase your tire scrub radius and your steering will be twitchier. You will notice more steering response to rough road and braking especially if one wheel has a different surface. Best to keep it less than more. If you wanna go out, go wide!

Do you have a lift installed as well? Truck looks good, man. I love the stock wheels (dare I say, more than TRD Pro). That's almost the exact look I'm going after.

Yeah, I'm an oddball, I guess. I like SR grills more than the Pro's as well. :der:

Gonna get some spidertrax 1.25 once they are back in stock. It sounds like there won't be any rubbing on stock TRD Pro tires, no extra lift?

so i have 265s on my truck with 16" pro wheels and 1.25" spidertrax and they rub at full lock. I trimmed some plastic off, super easy, no big deal, and now they only barely rub at full lock and when going over rocks or up inclines... i'm going to try trimming some more plastic and sanding it to make it look pretty and i will report back again

oh and i should mention, now that i have spacers, i would never go back. torqued them to 84 ft lbs, no shake, no problem in 1000 miles. trucks without them look silly now :)

Why is it that the directions say not to use an impact wrench? Is it just that you want to torque to proper spec or because the impact will cause damage? I ask because on my stock setup, I currently use an impact to remove and also install to around 80ft-lb using a torque stick then use torque wrench to finish up to proper spec.
