Down for the meet, mostly. I won't steer clear of mud, though.

If the kid comes she won't let me either that is her thing on the trails if the truck isn't completely covered she isn't happy. She fusses at me that I didn't go fast enough through a mud puddle if it doesn't cover the windshield. I'm not afraid of the mud just not into the mud bogging type of wheeling. But LBL does look like a fun meet to go at least once and see it first hand.

It's a double edged sword when it comes to split households.

:rofl:but I'm so tired right now I'm delerious.

The biggest thing is making it ideal as possible for the kid. I'm sure @SC2SC knows of all the psych work/research that has gone into child raising in single parent vs. married vs. split and the different idiosyncrasies of each. Just gotta do the best you can with then cards your dealt.

Does just wearing shorts count as wearing clothes for yard work? Asking for a friend :anonymous:

Arizona desert can be life threatening harsh during the day time this time of year. Hopefully he just ran out of battery life on his cell phone. With Mexicans and drug cartels not liking gringo’s I would stay away from the border.

Dammit, that is sad. :( We take risks and chances all the time and expect things to go the way we want, but it just doesn't always happen.

i follow most of that. :anonymous: all depends on the word "beat"

i am a firm believer of using both the carrot and the stick. my 2 "kids" 24 and 16 to this day will duck if i raise my hand. :smack: they both understand there are consequences, good or bad to their actions.

my mother told a story about laughing when she got spanked. she should have never let me hear that story.
the worst beating i ever got was at the dinner table. Mom "you are such a smart ass" me "i would rather be a smart ass than a dumb ass"
she pulled me across the table by my collar spanking the whole time.
    :anonymous:
    i may have laughed...

My brother and I laid a piece of plywood up against the house next to the master bedroom A/C window unit.
I flung a dart at the plywood and missed hitting the air line hose that holds the freon. This is middle of summer
in SoCal and my Dad comes out of the house and grabs the dart. In a fit of rage he throws it at me as I turn to
run away. The dart hit my wrist and got stuck. I pulled the bitch out and ran down the street to my friends house.
When it got dark my brother came over and told me to come home.

We were kids and me and a buddy were flipping darts at each other and dodging them. He got slow on one and it stuck in his shoulder. He pulled it out and we tossed a few more before we got un-dumb and stopped. :help:
