I agree with you but I can't take it to a new dealer because once a case has been started with one, another wont take me. I'll all again tomorrow and see what they have to say

Update! After Toyota Canada denying me service and closing my case, my dealer called me out of the blue after a week and a half. They are going to order me new struts and replace the body mounts at the same time. couldn't be happier. It goes to the shop next monday, ill keep updating when I get the truck back to test.

Final Update: got the truck back with a fully detailed document describing each step the mechanics took to fix my issue. Like mentioned before they're replacing the front struts and body mounts. The problem is fixed and even still they have not a clue what was causing the noise. So I'm a happy camper, sorta. When I got home after a lengthy drive from the dealer I noticed my struts were VERY dirty. I thought it was odd because the work order described new struts were ordered and installed... After closer looking it seems that they only replaced the top bushing/boot whatever you want to call it and performed a half-ass job cleaning the struts itself to look "new" 20180731_092442[1].jpg 20180731_092135[1].jpg 20180731_092124[1].jpg 20180731_092111[1].jpg

It wont matter they should all look like the picture I posted, they probably either did not torque the top nut properly 20 ft/pds. or more than likely didn't replace or lost the bushing/cushion or metal retainer under the hat, that's the metallic clacking your hearing http://www.customtacos.com/tech/files/omelift/strutview.gif
