    So many horror stories, so I'd thought I'd post this: took the truck in for the 5000mile ToyotaCare service and it went great. Took about 45 minutes while I sat comfortably in the lounge area with my laptop, their free wi-fi, and complimentary bottles of ice cold H20. I was too late for donuts, I guess. haha Anyway, while I was there I picked up my bed-mat that I'd ordered - $87.50 with local pick-up instead of shipping. Bonus!

    I have dealerships closer than this one - hell, one is a 5 minute drive from my house as opposed to the 25 minutes it took today, but it wasn't bad at all. For that first "official" service visit I wanted to use the dealership where I purchased the vehicle and they did nothing that would make me switch for the 10K service next year.

    Thanks, Toyota South - you dealers get a bad rap, but so far so good.
