Ohhhh. That’s a good point. I imagine it will be fine. Let us know if it does melt though.

Gonna need wipers soon. Should I stick with the Toyotas or go for aftermarket? Recommendations?

The Bosch were highly recommended by members however I only got 12 months out of them. I did buy a set of Bosch to replace them. Other members have stated Toyota refills are great quality and very inexpensive. If I kept my original blades I would've tried the refills the second time around. Bosch are a little pricey. They work great until they start streaking.

A great trick to clean them is to use the groove of of a car/house key and run the groove of the key from one end of the blade to the other to remove any gunk that has built up when you start experiencing streaking issues.

I opted for new sensors because I ordered my rims and tires mounted, thus they needed to put them in the tires before I received them. All I know is that steel wheels and alloy wheels use different styles of sensors, but if you're going from alloy to alloy the stock sensors may be fine. Good luck

To be fair I kept them clean and they started streaking around the time my windshield was cracked. Cannot say if it was before or after the crack.

Not sure if you mean you used the key trick or not, but if you’re just wiping them with a cloth or chamois try the key trick when you wash it next time. I’ve had really good results and have basically extended the life of a set of blades by a couple of years at least.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
It helps to have a clean windshield.

My truck was detailed before it left the dealer and just sat in my driveway from mid-February, when it was delivered, to late May. First time out, I needed to use the washer to get the thin coat of dust/dirt off. I had 2 reactions: a)"What? I only get one swipe?" and b) "Hey, one swipe does the job and didn't leave any streaks." Since then, I've used the wipers very little but one swipe with the washer leaves all kinds of streaks. Difference (I think) is that it has been on the road and the windshield has picked up oil, coolant, rubber and whatever else.

I'm going to give this a try once a month or maybe every other month:

It's a bit extreme, but the guy that does these vids seems to research the subject and try various methods. He's got another video on cleaning the inside of the windshield and 2 or 3 on de-fogging.

When I ordered my new rims and tires, I ordered them mounted and balanced. However, when I received them, my guy added my stock TPMS to my new set. I’m debating on doing the same thing or ordering new ones so when I receive them, I can just install them on my truck.
