    It’s optional. If you decide to get the wire and garnish, they have an eBay one with a package deal that is cheaper. It is in a previous post in this thread. Comes with wire garnish and lock nuts. I would get that if I had known about it at the time. Or it might be in the thread about installation of the grill.

    @Baby Bear Thanks for the info... so your reason for ordering the extension was based on what? I know you mentioned "clean it up a little" is that based on the current set up not fitting properly?

    Just the plastic clips don’t fit back into the slots completely. Some of them do but one or two won’t reach. The wire is hanging some and I want it to be perfect. It works fine like it is but just wanted it perfect.

    The extended wire is only optional you can get away with leaving the stock one on. Keep your cash and spend it on something else.
