Anyone else having an issue with Bluetooth? I listen to podcasts in my truck. It's fine when I first get in and listen. But if I cut my truck off and restart it, it doesn't work correctly. It will play about a second of the podcast garbled, then stop, then play another second garbled. It will keep doing this over and over. And it only happens if I have turned off my truck.

I can hard reset my iPhone and it will then play normal again. Very aggravating. My truck is still under warranty. Wondering if it is a Toyota issue. This doesn't happen in any of my other vehicles.

I have this same exact problem. I have read there is a update to the HU to “fix” the problem but I’ve already had one HU replaced under warranty and this new one isn’t any better. I still have it reset randomly very often and the Bluetooth acts up almost every time I start the truck.

Well damn. That's not what I wanted to hear. The Bluetooth feature is pretty important to me, and the way it acts up is maddening.

Bluetooth is all I listen to my music with and it’s so frustrating having to switch to fm just to not sit in silence in the way to work. I’m going to take my truck to the dealership again soon to see what can be done. My last HU kept rebooting over and over and eventually just stopped getting past the Toyota screen.

It stands for headunit. Sorry about that lol. There was another thread on this the other day and guys were saying there is a update through the Toyota website. Does yours ever reboot randomly?

Thanks. Downloaded an updated. Didn't help the issue any. I have learned that if I take the Bluetooth off on my iPhone wait a few minutes, turn it back on, that it usually plays okay.

I have the same issue. Quickest way to fix it is to turn your Bluetooth on your phone off and then back on. It’s BS that it’s such an absolute garbage system. I hate entune and daily curse the thing out but I have found the previous mentioned procedure to be a temporary fix. Hope it helps.

Same problem here. Entune sucks. Ive pretty much just given up on the bluetooth. There are some other threads on here with some problem solving solutions.
