Soooo I know we focus on Tacomas here, but I am in a pickle. I leveled out my buddy's tundra with a 1.5" space the other day. It was all working fine until we took a OL trip. The front driver side started making a real s*** noise. After assessing that the wheel was not going to fly off we got it back on the road and home. I took a look and found that when the drive side droops the UCA and joint is hitting the spring. I would be less dumbfounded if it was happening to both driver and passenger side. The thing that is striking me odd is that it is only happening on the driver side. I have had the truck aligned 2 separate times and it does not fix the issue. Thus leading me to believe that it has to be resonating from the UCA joint itself. Has anyone else here run into an issue like this and was able to resolve it? The only other think I can think of is putting in a new UCA that accounts for the lift. The other thing that is striking me as odd is that this is only a 1.5" spacer and I can not find anyone else having this problem. Thoughts? Comments? Solutions? I appreciate all your input Team!
