I scoured through the suspension posts for and couldn't find the answer I was looking for (though I'm sure it's there somewhere!) so I apologize for any redundancy.

I'm wanting to swap the 2" blocks (was on my 2nd gen when I bought it) with new leaf spring packs. My question is, which leaf spring packs would give me over a 3" lift? I'd like a tad more rake if possible. I'm running Camburg UCA’s and RaceRunner coil overs in the front.

I was going to order the Dakar 2.75" leaf packs and then an add a leaf, but figured I'd run it by the experts of Tacoma World first.

Thanks in advance for your help!

All I have is the cap for weight. The u-bolt/bend plate was a failed attempt at helping the axle wrap. It worked for quite a few ppl on these forums, but not mine.

OME Dakar pack would be a great option for you. You can get the standard duty, heavy duty or just AAL to the standard duty for somewhere in between (weight wise). I love my Dakar pack. 2.75” lift and flexes real nice.

You might look into Alcan springs. Thay make custom to order leave springs. Just tell them what you are wanting and they will build them for you .

That sounds awesome. Cost is a factor but I’ll check it out!

5100 + OME 885 with 1/4 poly strut top spacer on drivers side.

    Sweet looking Tacoma,

I love the stance, I have Dakars medium in back and I just put together 5100 and 885 for the front, am debating if I need to get the UCA before I install the front suspension. oh, I need to get the lean spacer even I dont see to have a lean.

Yes! 285/75/16 you will likely not “need” aftermarket UCA but they are always a good idea with bigger tires and lifts for several reasons!
