Okay. So I’ve been googling, and scrolling thru threads for hours. I’m sure within a day someone will post a link to what I’m looking for that I was too dumb not to find lol. Anyways. Has anyone run a 33x12.5 tire on TRD Pro wheels WITH a leveling kit. I have seen several people with 33x11’s or around that but no 12.5’s. Can anyone help?

I would double check if that would work first, with someone educated on tire to wheel ratios. Seems like 12.5" tire in a 7" wide rim is going to be really pinched right? Even if it is a 33" tall tire.
    Just my two pennies.

TOYTEC 2.5 kit, SPC UCA, N-fab side steps, TRD pro grille, FN FX PRO Wheels, BFG KO2S (265/70/17 C Rated), TRD Skid plate, Tyger Tonnue Cover, OVtune, Borla S type exhaust
FN FX PROS are an inch wider than the trd pro rims.they look they same and the FN fx have a 0mm offset as well. Maybe better bet for a wider tire??

Add* I believe they are a few pounds lighter than the TRD pro rims

Also they have a few colors to choose from (bronze, gloss black, semi gloss etc.)

I just have 265/70/17 on stock ride height. Have put about 24k miles on them and they have done great, beautiful build quality as well. They are semi gloss/ matte black. Very easy to clean vs the trd pros

Well here’s the problem. I already have the TRD pro wheels, and the leveling kit. Once I leveled it the tires that came with the wheels just look like pizza cutters. I don’t have the money to buy new wheels AND tires, and just didn’t know if a 12.5” wide tire would cause me issues.

It will cause you problems, but there is ways to achieve the look.....if you have infinite money do it, otherwise enjoy the taco for what’s it is.

What do you consider a "leveling kit" for the Pro? They're supposed to be somewhat level from factory. Are you putting a spacer up front and a block out back?

He has an off road tacoma. He took the pro wheels from a 4Runner. He leveled his off road.

Why are you trying to go with the tire width?

The tires I want only come in a 12.5” wide tire for a 33” tall tire

What strktly_bodysurf said. I have a TRDOR and did a 3” block in the front and 2” in the rear for an overall height at the front fender of 38 1/8” vs the factory 35 1/8”

Sounds like you leveled it after you raised the back... which means you installed a 3" lift. Unless I'm missing something.

I think it's potato potato. He lifted it and leveled it at the same time.

Like I said before, I would really ask a professional or hopefully someone who is kind aof knowledgeable about tire width to rim width comes along to help out. To me, it seems like a large gap in size, but I may be completely wrong.

The tires and lift fit beautifully. ZERO rubbing issues even on Black bear pass, red cone pass, radical hill, Tincup Pass and more in Colorado. 17” TRD Pro 4Runner wheels, 33x12.5x17 RollingBigPower Repulsor M/T tires, with a 3” in front and 2” in rear body lift.

Perfectly fine. Called a poor mans beadlock. Rock crawlers run them all the time. Large tire on skinny wheels.

Glad it worked out. I would double check the rubbing at full stuff. Those passes don’t flex the suspension enough.
