I am gonna try to post pics of 3 sets and would love some input. I am old so this black out I have to get use to. The ones on my truck are the Mickey Thompsons, then I have this other set in the box, and then I seen theses others I kinda like. Your opinions would be a welcomed thing. Good, Bad, Ugly ? Thanks 00l0l_b5LOlg6KH0U_1200x900_b221950643ae48439b4715cc007671bce1aac336.jpg

that's a fucking sweet wrap job. as for the wheels im not a big fan of fake beadlock so ide put the mickeys last then the sport wheels (I think those are sport wheels?) then the 4runner wheels first. that's just my personal opinion.

I prefer the second set of wheels (the 3rd gen sport wheels) personally.

    What size are your tires?

Looks like you're lifted, and depending on what size tires you have the 1st and 2nd set of wheels might require spacers to fit your tires.

Personally I prefer the set of wheels already on the truck.

I think the current wheels on the truck match it better then the other 2 sets

The black wheels you have to get used to, but the wrap doesn’t phase you one bit???

I don’t like any of those wheels.

I am old too, dont like the all blacked out at all. My 2013 Tacoma had blacked out 20" when I got it, hated them. I got a set of 2018 4 runner 17", silver around the outer edge with 6 silver spoke looking things going out from the center. Personally my favorite wheel for my truck. From your 3 pictures, the middle set is by far the best looking. Just my opinion.

Hands down keep the Mickey Thompson. The other 2 are just plain jane stock. The other 2 will not even look good with your wrap choice.

What you got on there is sweet..stock rims make the truck look...well stock with a wrap needing aftermarket rims.

Go with FN PRO wheels in black or dark gun metal if you are looking for the stock look because you get the stock look with a wider lighter after market rim. Dustin is easy to get along with and a great help with any questions you have.

The 4Runner rims for sure. I would paint/powdercoat anthracite. The 3rd gen Sport wheels are ugly as hell, look like they belong on a mini-van.

I'm with you Monkeybutt! I have those sport wheels on my 2017 TRD Sport AC. I recently bought the 4Runner wheels off 2016 and painted them black...my first time doing this and there still sitting in the back of my truck while I search for tires. Found a nice set of toyo at2 3-570/17's for $200 bucks but the 4Runner wheels are only 17x7 and my stock wheels are 17x7.5 so probably wont fit or rub if they did without a lift. :(

For OP: I'm old too - 53 and I prefer the blackout look! Cheers!
