Baja race weekend down in TJ.

 

Hey guys, still on the fence of whether or not I should get the 4.88 gears in my taco. I would love to be able to feel it ahead of time. Is anyone local (I'm in the IE) have a MT with 4.88 that would graciously allow me to take it for a spin? You can drive my stock truck and remember what stock gearing felt like for nostalgia We can have a mini taco meet up for those that want to join and can swap taco stories and mods over some good tacos (lunch is on me!). Or if there is a regular or upcoming taco meet up that i'm unaware of coming that you'll be let me know, I can head there too. Or if your not local but have them installed in your MT, please post up your thoughts/reviews! Thanks guys.

Hey any of you guys familiar with the flagstaff area. I’m heading up that way the 1st of September to explore, and destination that really stand out, I’ll be there 4 days.

I just drove through there. I stayed there a couple of nights. Man it’s beautiful. Check out Sedona while you’re out there because that’s a neat town too. A bunch of scenic trails out that way as well.

 

Yeah we’re looking to do a lot of scenic driving while we are out there, I’m hoping to spot a herd of elk. We planned on seeing downtown flagstaff one night and downtown Williams another night. Planned on hitting bearazona and out of Africa. Hoping to do some fishing too if anyone knows a good spot out that way.

 

I saw a ton of elk more north by the Grand Canyon but not near flagstaff. Best of luck man I love that place and I hope you have a great time.

 

Awesome thanks for the advice man I’ll have to look that way, we planned on hitting the Grand Canyon again while we were there so might make it a point to stop and glass for some elk.

 

Anyone in the IE have a 2nd or 3rd gen truck bed sleeping platform they no longer use? I would be interested in taking it off your hands, let me know what you have!
