2 Tundras, 1 Jeep, And 1 Tacoma.
    My unique offroad family.

We met up at the trail head at 7pm.

We headed up the trail shortly after 7pm and started the climb with the sun setting.

After the first intial climb up the mountain we found several large pools of mud/water left behind from a recent rain in the mountains.

The trucks didn’t stay clean from this point on.

We eventually made it to the highest point of the trail over looking FWY 8 to the east and the mountain scape to the south west.

After a couple more mud sections

We made it to the roughest part of the trail.

Shortly thereafter we arrived at our destination.

    The Pine Valley Helipad.

We parked and let the kids run around for a bit and waited for sundown.

Then we saddled up and headed back.

We finally made it back to the main road and did a damage report. One of the tundras snapped a passenger side lower shock mount bolt.

So we got to work Baja style.

Of all the spare nuts and bolts I had in my truck we managed to find the right bolt with no nut.
But ended up finding a threaded air coupler that fit the bolt so that’s what we used.

I also lost the side lamp on my driver side. Bulb and everything. 1 week after I did my blinker relocate mod.
    :annoyed:

Here’s an aerial start to finish.

Overall it was a great little night run. I would recommend it to anyone 2WD looking for a fun little day/night trip.

That was our original plan haha. Then the coupler was found. Like we literally cut the zip ties off to screw it on.

The first photo of everyone together looked like an album cover. I don't know what made me think of that but sweet pictures. Looked like a lot of fun.
