Does anyone have the RS3200 alarm compatible with Smart Key System?

Truck just came in. I'm being told by the dealer that the Toyota RS3200 plus alarm is not compatible with the Smart Key System. Does anyone have this combo? Need to find out asap.

 

Refer to the installation instruction sheet (about page 22). It talks of testing the device with the key fob after the techstream is updated. That would lead me to believe that it does work with the smart key system.

Hi Redskins21 - did you ever find the answer to this? I am researching the same but having a hard time find good documentation.

 

I am having it installed on Tuesday. There is a gent on "what have you done to your 3rd" thread". Post #29970. He said it works with the smart key. Activate/deactivate with fob. Deactivate when grabbing drivers door handle. My service manager tells me the alarm is designed to work with premium tech package. I will update after the install on Tuesday let you know if this is accurate

 

Just by looking at the install instruction should answer that question and prove the dealer unknowledgeable about the product.

Still waiting on the dealer to get back to me on trade value for mine before I make that leap. Please update when completed.

 

I installed mine today successfully, decided to take the plunge. @Maximus2002 helped me out. Used these install instructions - attached.

 

How did you manage to enable the alarm via TechStream? I have the alarm but I have not installed it yet due to the TechStream limimation.
