Please help identify this?

can anyone help identify this little black box thingy that’s spliced into wiring by throttle body? Was on the truck when I bought it. Thanks in advance. No labels on it

 

Looks like a relay

 

Pretty sure it’s definitely aftermarket. Any idea what it would be for

 

I only see 2 wires so i would assume not a relay. Take the cover off the engine and see what it goes to.

Do you have aftermarket lights, alarm, electric cooling fans, etc?

 

I would be more concerned with the blue Scotch-Lock tucked in behind it. I seriously dislike those connectors, nothing but trouble.

And what did they tie into on the engine harness??

 

What I don't understand is why it is wired in with the throttle body.
