What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yep, and it doesn't take much to set one aside from the group, I'm running steel wheels for example... I liked the way they looked and alloys that looked similar were actually heavier and a good bit more money... But how many guys on here run aftermarket steelies? (not as rare as red wheels lol but still)

Or I love seeing trucks with a roof basket on bars instead of a flat rack, or trucks with homemade mods. Different is cool

 

Finally finished my rear bumper setup. (Added left swingout, gas can mount and cO2 tank mount)

 

I saw a white Taco on H3 this week, had "TacomaBeast" on the rear- where you guys put your fake TRD stickers. @Dangerousd1987 that you?

Maybe, but when you find quality parts, people flock to them. I have Kings, Total Chaos uppers, Relentless skids, and bumpers. Prinsu rack. Just like a million other guys. But when it works, it works.

Finally got around to two simple mods this weekend.... Did the RAM a-pillar phone mount. Also the IMMRYO rear view mirror bracket. Couple of convenient little adjustments to the interior. Probably will add an extension to the phone mount to get it a little lower and out of field of view.

I have had the BFG KM2s and now Yokohama Geolander G003. BFG were great until about 40,000 when they started getting loud. Suspect that is the case with most MT tires as they get close to the end of their useful life. My current Yokohamas are very quiet MT's. And great grip.

 

Installed a USB outlet next to Ram mount so I can use a short cable for charging my phone.

 

I agree, my point was simply that I like to see stuff done differently... Even catches the eye when guys have kings or icons with custom powder coated coils... Don't get me wrong, if I saw your truck in person I would probably still approach you to talk about it and admire it

 

I was thinking of doing that too. Did you wire it right into the fuse box below? I'm terrible when it comes to electric...

 

I've been doing the same. Last bit of kit came in Friday after 5 months of saving and piecing it together. Goes in this weekend! You must be stoked to finally have it in!

Yeah, we've been looking at a few before this one that were pretty trashed or had everything removed (electrical, water, gas).
