Just got my first Tacoma, 16 TRD Sport, black .Only has 9500 miles, so lots of life left. Came with running boards that I haven't decided if I like yet, might be the firstIMG_20180804_190637.jpg change. Looking forward to learning from TW.

That's a nice clean truck man!! I ditched the running boards on mine the day I got her. I think it makes the truck feel a little bit taller before a lift kit and I like the look without them.

    Welcome!

Removing running boards was the first thing I did to my truck. I didn’t need them, so the only purpose they served for me was getting my pants dirty every time I got in or out.

Thanks! Just removing the boards and seeing how I like it could definitely be an option, good idea, haha.

Congrats on the Taco and welcome to TW! It is all personal preference when it comes to mods/looks. I think the running boards look good!
