    Eh, my wife had a few cosmetic flaws when I first got her. I'm not a perfectionist. I still wince when I wash the Taco and find a new chip or scratch. But that's just the way of the world. You use stuff it gets dinged. Once it's paid for I'll start saving the payment for a custom paint job.

    I am. I was lucky they understood. The scratches on the plastic fender made me go back in. They had just got another one just like it the same day.

    ya man, in arizona my truck has taken so many rock shots.... the whole front end is puckered up. It sucks but it will happen eventually

    Adhesive joining hood bracing to hood shell breaks loose sometimes causing hood flutter.

    Scratches, dents, and a lot of miles
    With 200k and 10 years on my truck now, my entire front end is full of paint chips. I have small dents and branches from branches and hickory nuts falling onto the hood and roof. I have dents from inconsiderate people in parking lots.

    Don't sweat the small stuff OP, it's only going to get worse. Paint doesn't improve over time.
