1/4 inch spacer I picked up from Ace Hardware.

 

With a 1/4 spacer and the bottom adjusting bar has to be pushed down a little on engine.

tHE oRIELY'S alternator may have the right pulley. let me edit a pic and i'll show you what to look for.

 

That will work. Just make sure it has the thicker pulley.
