It’s bright. Brighter than the 30” double row CaliRaised bar I had before. Whether it’s worth it over the more affordable Rigid 20” bar, I’m not sure. It definitely looks good on and off though :D

Fabbed a new mount for my firestick and light bar on top of my ARB bullbar this past week. Was having a wicked hard time getting good SWR readings when I had the antenna mounted directly on the tab welded to the bar, plus that limited my mounting options of the light bar with the winch solenoid being directly above the winch.

So ordered some 1-1/8" x 1/8" flat stock and a bunch of 3/8"-16 316 stainless hardware from McMaster-Carr, drilled a bunch of holes (by hand cause I'm a peasant in an apartment :anonymous:), painted it, and here we are. SWR readings are decent now although Im still not reading as much power out as I'd like. And the light bar throws a pretty good distance from up there. If I eventually relocate the winch solenoid into the engine bay, I may put the LED down there, but for now having it just above the hood line from the drivers seat doesn't bother me.

As a side note, dont ever use good clear coat over rustoleum spray paint! It really F***s stuff up. The light haze look in the 1st pic and orange peel in the 2nd isn't all glare, its some messed up reaction. Its actually looked really good and would have been a perfect match to the factory ARB powder coat before I hit it with clear! :censored:

It still looks really good. It's hard to DIY a paint job. You have to bake the pigment paint first and make sure it out-gases before adding clear. Otherwise they fight with each other. Even worse with rattle can paint as it may not take clear without a bad interaction. Been there, done that, had to remove paint.
