Read through the thread linked in post #2, but IIRC you'll be fine. As far a Mobil 1, you'll be fine with that too.

Changing u joints in rear drive shaft. Going to change diff fluid as well while I'm at it. I see all this info on TRD and Sport but what about a pre-runner???

75/90 still good?? Any additive needed??

I'm not sure what the prerunner has in the rear but if its like any other vehicle I've seen it will have a tag or sticker that says "LSD" or "LSD FLUID ONLY", ETC... near by or on the pumkin. If it doesn't have any of these indicators you should be fine without LSD additive.

I think you can also check by jacking up the rear and turning one of the rear tires, if the other tires spins in the same direction it should have a limited slip diff... if it spins the opposite way its a regular open diff as far as I know. Maybe others with more experience can chime in here.

For the Redline brand users. I have read all 4 pages and am still a touch confused. I have a 2010 SR5, 4x4, M/T. I want to change both Diff's, Trfr case and Transmission. Correct me where I am mistaken please. Thank you kindly.
    Both Diff's - Redline 75W-90 Gear oil/lube GL5
    Trfr Case - Redline 75W-90 Gear oil/lube GL5
    T-mission - Redline MT-90 GL4

I use the MT-90 in the transfer and transmission , Redline 75-90 in the diffs.
