    Got a 2018 Limited, would like to add some useful things to it. Not enough to attract the attention of a carjacker. But some thing useful.

    Best method is to drive it and determine what you view as shortcomings. Then address those.

    But right off I can tell you a bed mat is useful. If you actually haul stuff.

    And a @mattgecko underrail bed lighting is very useful, if you haul stuff at night. Or you have a tonneau, it can be helpful in the day time.

    You can do all the same things to a Limited that you can most Tacoma models.

    You could:
    Go up 1 tire size (not too noticeable)
    You can mount shovels etc if you can keep them from prying eyes
    You can change fog lights to usable off-road lighting (people wouldn’t even know the difference)

    Plenty of things you can do if you just hang around this site and check out the threads you will see what will and won’t work for you

    Oh... And get a gun and mount your holster if you are worried about carjackers. Lol! Blast em!

    OP, what do you use your truck for? Commuter - add creature comforts like a console organizer, LED int. lights, seat covers etc... Do you tow? Add a controller, AAL, etc.. Off road - this site will break your bank account with goodies. Me I tow, commute and work with it my family truck. I have all weather mats, bed mat, tonno-pro cover, controller, seat covers, etc... Again, your truck your wants.

    The only things I have changed on my 2017 Limited are Weathertech floormats and the console organizer. I'd suggest the Husky floormats, but the console organizer is useful.

    My Limited is primarily my DD. I ave the Tech package and it came with power tailgate locker.

    With that said... Here are the things I have added to/modded on mine
    Amp Power Steps
    Bed Mat
    Bed Lighting
    Undercover Flex (Hard tri-fold cover)
    @mesojdm V3 ultimate turn signals (debating getting the V4's if possible when they are released)
    @mesojdm Coin holder
    @mesojdm extended fuse cover
    @mesojdm CSP 6.1W
    A/C drain mod
    OEM Mud flaps
    OEM All weather floor mats
    Upgraded Tint (FL truck needs UV protection)
    OPt7 sequential blinker tailgate bar w/Reverse
    Vanity plate
    Distressed US Flag rear window 50/50 film
    Added 6 D-ring to Tonaue rail mounts
    Added Small d-ring to bed boxes
    Tailgate net on bed box d-rings to keep "stuff" withing last 1-1.5' of bed (near tailgate)
    Hose clamp tailgate Anti-theft mod
    OEM Door sill protectors
    Door sill protector SSM decals
    Footwell/under seat lighting

    I probably forgot one or 2 minor things

    Pending ..
    Tail light reconfiguration to include 6" light bars on bumper as reverse
    Train horn - debating full compressed air vs caddy 4 note
    Headlight upgrade
    Fog light upgrade
    Rock/puddle lights
    Courtesy on mod for some/all rock and footwell lights

    The bulk of my mods are non-visible/noticeable to outsiders. I have also concentrated on most of them being "portable" so I can move or sell them if/when I trade it in.

    Good luck and welcome to your empty wallet!! :hattip:

    Why would you need the tailgate anti-theft mod if you have the locking tailgate...and locking tri-fold??

    Just an extra layer of safety. About $2 for a hose clamp and less than 5 min to install, why not?

    I have since removed the step tubes. I hated how the back of my leg hit them every time I got out of the truck.

    OP.....can't say what you need to do to your Limited......it's all in what you need & want.

    Many options out there.

    One mod that I did to my 3rdGen that I'm really liking more and more each day was adding the bull horns emblem. It's a cool personalization mod that makes me grin when I'm walking up to my truck.

    TW Member @Andres is who you wanta contact. He runs them a limited time each year.....so it will be a delayed gratification mod....something worth looking forward to. He also does some really cool receiver hitch covers, too.
