The best part is the audio where the dude is making fun of me for having a snorkel in CA.

I guess he was too busy chugging protein powder to see my WA plates and the insane amount of dirt and dust on the rear end.

 

Also what's the deal with me having to go out of state to get spotted on here.

If you have a snorkel, you aren't allowed to take your truck on concrete anymore. You may only drive in 4 feet of mud or through dust storms.

I get the typical stupid starter/engagement question that goes a little somethin' like this : " hey! ya ever take that in water deep enough that you'll ACTUALLY need that... thing there?"
My answer is typically based on the number of teef missing/present.
Most of the time, it's the look over the shoulder with a nod and I raise my hand over the roof...

@NorthwestCruiser ? thought for sure he would chime in on shock rebuilds and such.

 

I haven’t had mine rebuilt yet, just shows how often I change things lol but I figure when I do I’ll send them to downsouth motorsports

I'm hoping for local because I DD my truck. Close to 50k on the shocks. They feel fine still but at some point they'll need to be done.

 

@JeffRoyJenkins are you still able to do rebuilds?

 

Yeah I don't know his availability but I think it's worth a call. I think he charged me around $80-100 for my front Kings(not including the rebuild kit I got from King) and banged it out in a day.

 

The new installer at Adventure Ready mentioned being a Kings rebuilder. Fwiw
