Love my coastal offroad gear! Brandons a great guy to work with and was willing to help with any special requests I had! Can't wait till I save enough to get some skids and finish off my coastal offroad package!

Looking forward to seeing more of these around!

Been seeing more and more of the Coastal Offroad bumpers around here. They look like they have an awesome approach angle, may consider getting one sooner than later :D

How does that swing out work? That single pivot arm doesn't seem like it would have enough support for that big tire when banging around off road.

It's a double 3/4" heim joint hinge with a heavy duty latch at the other end. Unlike many other carriers, the arm gets cinched down against the UHMW catch pad so the weight is supported as both ends while driving, not just hanging off of the hinge. It's a very stiff system that works great!

I'm looking for the same! It would be great if we could update this thread or create a rear bumper only sticky...

BTW... The one's I really like so far are CBI, All-pro, SOS offroad. They all offer tire carriers.

I'm curious if anyone can tell me about the real advantages provided by the high-clearance bumpers. Is there a significant advantage to them? They're definitely going to add more weight, and the departure angle looks to be about the same? I'm sure they do a goo job to protect the bedsides from being crushed, but is that an issue that tacoma owners run into frequently off-road? I've never seen someone smash their bedsides.

    Any input would be appreciated.

Got pics somewhere? I'd definitely go for a HC if there was a clear reason to get one, maybe I'll call someone who makes one and see what they have to say.

I'm looking to get rid of my custom tube bumper, does anyone make any new styles of bumpers for 2nd gen? I see tons of bumpers for 3rd gen and other trucks but nothing fits the 2nd gen. I like Road Armour's style but it looks way to big for Tacomas. Also are there any that people have put on tacos with fiberglass fenders?

So i'm just about ready to pull the trigger on a relentless fab bumper, but I can't decide if i want a stinger/hoop or not. I dig the looks of them, but is there an actual functional reason to need a hoop on the front? I'm trying the think of situation where it would be good to have and coming up short..

The stinger on the front is to keep you from flipping on the roof if you end up on the nose of your truck.

Outside of that and being a mounting point for lights and general protection for the grill .. that’s all they are for

Just thought I'd post my 2013 Tacoma XSP-X DCSB with an ARB bumper for people like me that were looking for inspiration prior to purchase. I'm very happy with the bumper after 3 months of being installed. It did however throw my alignment off and I am really not happy that my Bilstein 6112's have been back ordered for 3 months now...

My no-fog version ARB bumper. Sagged my 600lb coils after settling... Still deciding on 650 or 750lb coils before I install the winch.
