no mod's ... YET! I bought this vehicle on 8/4/2018 and its seems to be all stock with no upgrades or mods.
    Hey Everyone!

I'm stoked to be a part of this community! I just bought my first Taco on 8/4/2018. Its a 2003 Double Cab with 170k miles. Its a RWD and auto trans, and I could not be more excited.

I've already got a huge list of mod's that I'd love to make in the next year or so, but want to ask - what should I start with? Any and all suggestions would be great to hear.

First, welcome to TW!! Congratulations on the rig.

The mods really depend on how you plan to use it. Tell us that and you’ll get more useful suggestions geared for you.

    Yes, great point...

The vehicle will be my daily driver to work and then home. I'll also be camping with it a lot. I will hit some dirt roads for sure, but most likely won't go off-roading in it. A few of my initial thoughts on modifications are:

    - lift kit - any suggestions?
    - new tires and wheels (leaning towards KO2's or Wranglers)
    - camper shell (roof rack on top)
    - armored front bumper
    - armored rear bumper with a swing-out

Throw out any other ideas that I should think about!

If you're going to be mostly fire roads and camping, along with daily driving... I'd suggest lifting with Bilstein 5100s and good coils. You can do a full leaf pack in back or go with an add a leaf if you don't want to spend a lot of cash on a leaf pack.
