    Nothing worthy

It's amazing how much love and devotion we express to our pets. For so many people i'm sure they can't understand why we spend so much money, time away from work etc. on a "pet". For us, we don't have kids (can't) our pets are our kids and I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to spend what's necessary for their well being. What a horrible experience you must be going through, emotional and financial... My LEX is turning 15 (thankfully in wonderful health but i'm preparing myself..)
Getting a Weimaraner soon and really preparing myself for a short (hopefully 15 years together) and probably expensive life together but worth every bit.

    Get well soon Henry!!

It's coming up on a year since we had to let our Ponce go. He came down with diabetes which we were able to help with insulin but at 15 began to affect his mobility (nerve damage in his hind legs). My daughter came with me to the vet when it was time. To date it is the only time she's seen her Dad in tears.
I know it was the right thing to do for him but it did not make it any easier saying goodbye.
We treasure the last day we shared with him. It was full of treats, pets, & purrs. We know he knew he was loved before he passed.
    Many, many fond memories remain.

I just want to say thanks to you for taking such good care of Henry. It always warms the heart to know there are others out there that understand that these little guys and girls depend on us and we need to step up to the plate. You sir, along with your wife are doing that. :)

He's good, we've had him around the other cats a good bit. He goes in for his second round of shots next Wednesday.

Need to get some pics of him terrorizing Lola haha

@Taco Buggy thanks for asking! Suki is doing really good and we are just so thankful that we got through this whole ordeal. The hot weather has been wearing on her a little lately. She’s really sensitive to heat and she’s been loving getting her coat sprayed with kitchen faucet or garden hose. It’s pretty funny seeing her get all perked up and playful afterward.

Damn I hate hearing about this kind of crap- I am sooo sorry that you’re having to go through this. Hang in there!!! You have a lot of people praying for you and your kitty. Hope he rounds the corner and shows some signs of improvement.

Henry has perked up a bit since yesterday. He's certainly not as spunky as he was before his episode, but he seems happy and comfortable, and isn't having any noticeable side effects from the meds yet - knock on wood. He's eating, drinking and using the box without issues, He can get around fine, and he's as affectionate as before. I'm sure he's relieved to be home. The other cats have stopped freaking out when he is near, and he's hanging out in his normal spots. He even played laser pointer a little last night, but he seemed to tire quickly so we stopped. So far so good.
