I had mine done and I just rub on the stupid fender liner and the backs of the fender flairs at times. It’s definitely an annoyance but at least it’s not constant. Looks good though!

I was the same after CMC until I had my Caster set at +4 - no rubbing at all - 2" lift with 285/70/17

Looks like a clean job. What is your wheel and tire setup that made you have to chop?

What front shocks do you have and how much lift?

That's great. What are the wheel dimensions? Stock wheels or aftermarket? I have 17x9 -12 offset and 4.5 backspace. Want to jump to the same tire you have but have a feeling i'll need to CMC because of the wheels.

    17x8.5 (BS) 4.30 (Offset)-10mm

The day before they installed them, I got the truck super dirty and then drove around with the new ones installed, so that I could see everywhere it was rubbing. This made it so much easier. I knew all of the clean spots needed to be trimmed away. I had a couple of spots on the lower front fenders that were rubbing, and just a portion of the body mount was rubbing. I got the Dremel out, trimmed up the front parts, and then took it over and got the body mount done.

Yup, your wheels poke out less. I'm sure if I go up 285's i'll need a cmc. Good idea, when they put the new tires on, put some sort of washable marking paint to see where the tire rubs exactly.

    Thanks!
