    Toyota did a much better job with the 3rd gen tailgate than they did with the 2nd gen.

    There really isn’t a lot of demand for a replacement cap, so we aren’t going to make them or the side rail caps anymore.

    Sub'd for future order! Have a nasty cavity in the top of my tail gate this would have prevented and might hide

    Just installed the tail cap. Seem to lost my soft opening, is it due to the extra weight? Anyone know of there some sort of arrangement I could make to make it assist the opening again?

    Is it one of ours? We haven’t sold that item in eons.

    But when we did, it was aluminum and very light. It shouldn’t have any effect on your soft opening.

    I think so, looks the same as the pix on your web store. But It was 2nd hand, off of an member here. I could share video of the opening later.
