Cluster lights,and radio don’t work

hey , I’m new here and was hoping someone could help me with this, I just got a new truck (new to me) a 1999 Tacoma TRD prerunner sr5, it has more or less everything I was going to put on a truck (lift,AM tires , nerfbars etc) so that saved me some time and money, I got it for a good deal as well, So it wasn’t a big deal to me when I saw that it head AM (aftermarket) projector head light, I’ve never been a big fan of projector lights, I much rather have the stock lights, with a better bulb , but the only problem i have is that when I turn on my head lights at night the cluster lights don’t come on along with the a/c lights, and the stock radio would work and the light would even come on until I turned my head lights on, but now my parking break lights , check engine light , etc all work , just not the speedometer, fuel gauge, as well as my shifter lights, my first thought was fuses, none were blown neither under the hood or under the dash, next thought bulbs, a bit of a stretch to think every single bulb went out but then I thought it might be a circuit where one goes out they all do, so spent an afternoon taking the dash apart to replace the lights only to see that only one was blown, to make sure I even tested each light I suspected to be blown, even after I replaced it they won’t turn on, then yesterday after noon I was in the mood to install a new radio, which I’ve done countless times before on a wide variety of different cars, after all is said and done I turn the truck on to see the radio doesn’t turn on, so again I rechecked all the fuses, in the cab and under the hood, nothing none were blown, so when I got to work this morning I took the radio out again (got here early) and checked the fuse on the radio as well as all the wire connection everything is as it should be, and I’m starting to think it’s has something to do with the reason I’ve never liked projector head lights, I’ve not had time to chem yet, but I really feel it has something to do with the wiring when whoever owned this truck before put the head lights in, again that’s why I hate aftermarket projector head lights, as I’m sure everyone does I try my best to avoid any kind of wiring problems. Anyways I was hoping someone out there could give me some advice and help point me in the right direction.
