Good info! Can you post a link to the Tactrix cable? I looked on their site and the only cable that came up was an OBD extension cable (OBD connector on both ends).

Or, are you talking about their dongle? That looks like it is wireless?

    Thanks!

Anyone comment on driveability gains with this update? I was just about to flash my truck to 104a but may have the dealer do this and hold for 105a if it’s that good.

Eh! I have a three monitor setup in the back of my ACLB.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I grabbed a version of TS a long time ago. I've been meaning to try it, esp to silence the key in chime, but lazy is a way of life.

Does techstream get the CUW file from the interwebs? If not where is everyone getting the new CUW from?

I do believe you need a subscription to TS to get all the CUW files from the interwebz but it seems that once someone downloads it they can share the file

That makes sense. Can anyone get a subscription to TS? I would have expected that to be restricted to dealerships. I also suspect it's not cheap.

If I have a 2017 built mid May. Any idea what ecu this would be. All of this is totally new to me but am wanting to learn more about my truck so I can follow along. Can I find out this info without connecting to my truck?

Maybe this is off topic... 2017 MT here.... but I find if I burn 89 octane I have no issues with surging, but the 87 octane, well, it depends where I buy it. Some stations the 87 may not be exactly 87. Has anyone else with surging tried 89?

What is the difference between the two files? Different ECU versions?
Also, are these only for 2018 ECU versions?

    Sincerely,

    A 2017 04B12 guy.

not sure of the difference between the two cause they both end up flashing the same ECU file in the end but the difference for MT people is that 0058 has the 04B12 ECU listed. It flashes it to 04B13
