Wondering if it’s actually this, either somehow modded to bolt to it, or welded to it:

    Good idea!
I just tested it with duct tape and it fixed the issue. Will shove something in there instead of the tape.

I’ll keep it in mind, but since the bike won’t be with me every trip, I’m going to see how I can make it work with the cbi rack. Plans now are for a locking quick release rocky mount on the back rail, then see how many bars I can clear for the handle bars and or the seat. They only have a few bolts so would be easy to remove one and put it back. So that’s the plan for now. I just saw har cbi bike mount picture and was intrigued.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Took about 2.5 hours for getting it out by myself.

It's made by CBI, I have them. Bolts to the side towers on the rack and you add the tray of your choice. I used the Kuat Solos cuz they have incorporated cable locks and you can change for adaptors win an Allen wrench. I'll see if I have a picture anywhere

That’s cool thanks for the help. And if you run into another deal let me know since I don’t know what to look for and how much these things are worth.

Thanks for around $300 for a single setup. I’ll have to see if the in bed way will work as I’d prefer that anyways but now I know I’ve got this option for keeping the rack.
