Hey guys/gals, its a pleasure to be in this forum compared to the Subaru one. Had a Cross trek for a year and had off-road tires and a 2.5" lift installed. After having it for only 1 month, I hit a black bear. Here I am with a way better vehicle finally. Working on turning my Tacoma into an over-landing rig and figured Id join an awesome community where I could receive tips and show off my build as I go along. If I had a ton of money I'd already be done but where's the fun in that. I look forward to talking to everyone and excuse me if I don't get back to anyone in a timely manner as I'm on a completely different time zone and I don't have access to the internet all the time. Excuse the lack of pictures of my rig, I'm currently at work and don't have access to my phone. Ill try and get one up at a later point.

    Thanks,
    Zach

I went the opposite route. I almost hit a black bear in my Tacoma and then I bought a crosstrek.

    Welcome to TW.

In that case, want to buy some method rims with method all terrains for 500 haha. I was pretty mad when I had to make the switch but there's so much more I can do with the Tacoma then compared to the Subby. The only thing I miss was when I was on base driving around, I got all kinds of head turns due to the fact that it was unique. With Toyotas you'll still get that but with the cross trek, it was an experimental field. You were almost the first one to do anything.

The sickness has already taken over for me, started with my cross trek. My only problem is dishing out that money for the parts I want. I'm very peculiar as to what I spend my money on, just need to maintain my patience. I appreciate the welcome. See you around.
