2016 Tacoma VLED Brake Lights & Turn Signals! (Picture's & Video's)

Bought the 3157CK Amber front turn signal kit but the base adapter does not fit in the socket any thoughts? My truck is 2016 TRD sport

 

The front bulb adapters are not CK sockets they are just plain 3157s like I state in my original post!

Did you have to use resistors on ALL of the LED conversions you put in, or just the ones you mentioned here? I'm also curious about, if a resistor is NOT required, will putting one in have a detrimental effect?

 

All you need resistors for the front turn signals and drls and the rear turn signal lights. The only place you don't need resistors is the rear tail/brake lights

 

Looks great! Did you know if the 3rd break light housing is just one T10 style for the break light?

 

Thanks man, the 3rd brake light is 3 little T10 bulbs that I have to yet to replace with leds!

 

I thought those were already fitted with LED bulbs?

 

Nope they are halogens

 

After running these vled leds for about 6 months now how are they doing any problems? I put some vleds in my back up lights and have been thinking about putting them in my rear tail lights but have been a little worried there would not be sufficient space behind the tail light assemblies for proper cooling.

 

No problems what some ever with the leds, they been perfect!

Nope, running 5500k 50w Retrofit source HID's. But i am running the VLED LMZ 4500 lumen 5k led bulbs in my high beams though! Those things are amazing!
