No not really, just saying as far as armor goes, that makes most sense to me after doing this truck the way it was done

Morning all. Working a half day today and then headed out with a buddy fishing a private pond in Plymouth. I just needed to have a day in a boat

 

I put on a full set of Mobtown about a month ago. Was a lot more difficult than any other brand of skid plates I have ever installed on any vehicle. The order in the directions to instal stuff makes no sense, and there is a lot of stupid shit going on (maybe I am just completely an idiot tho) anyways, once on, they are solid as all hell and I'm not worried for the rest of my life about what's gonna hit me down there. I also got the RCI gas skid. IMO, if you are getting skid plates to stop damage, get steel. Aluminum is silly because it only offers a lot less strength and usually costs even more. Does that .05 seconds lost on your 0-60 in a taco make a difference to you? Or does not having to replace a bunch of parts because you thought "hey I probably won't constantly be jackhammering my undercarriage I'll be ok". Heavier is more protection IMO and these aren't fast trucks anyways so who cares if you add some weight.

Pellet's can be much easier. We keep a pallet of them in the basement and just bring a bag up when you need it. Easier to start up if you let go out by accident too. Just hit a button and pour more from the bag in.

Looks great! I think off-road bumpers are hard to look "good" and this looks good! Lots of times it's too aggressive looking for me, or doesn't really make much of a difference in looks. I think this bumper hit the sweet spot

This is my first house with a wood stove or any secondary heating source and last winter was our first winter using it. We didn’t burn that much wood throughout the winter but I can tell that we definitely need to burn more. The cost of oil is really a kick in the pants and I’m hoping the wood will offset the cost. We were also pretty nervous to leave the wood stove burning while we weren’t home or sleeping so most times a fire wouldn’t be started until I got home from work and then left to burn out when we went to bed

Yeah. Trails. 1 of 15 or so on the truck. Was a good weekend.
