You’ve done a hell of a job btw! I did click on all the links and the rest worked. Didn’t know there were so many wedge camper options.

Big shout out to Graeme and the rest of the GFC crew!! Graeme managed to delivered and installed my camper(#40) while I was away on a biz trip. Being a MT6, I wasn't able to get someone to drive my truck out to get it installed, so I left the key in a lock box for Graeme to grab the truck for the install. That's pretty awesome customer service! Thanks again for making it happen, now I just need to survive the rest of this damn trade show so I could get back to the new toy :) Many thanks again, def am a happy gofastcamper!

Awesome, I’m number 41, so they should be DAMN close to an East Coast run now. I’ve got an email out to Elise right now hopefully she comes back with some good news....

    Congrats looks awesome

I too got mine over the weekend and boy is it everything I thought it would be. Install was straight forward and we managed to do it with 3 people. Cargo net and d-rings on order.

    That looks killer. Congrats.

You solved any questions that I had about color. Black on red will work for me. Are the GFC logos ghosted black?

    Hey, Ace.

I think you said that you were in W WA? I have some PET material if you want it and it would help out other GFC folks. It's only 1.0lb, but it is strong and prints great.

Hopefully she says the trailer is loaded and will depart as soon as #50 is onboard. :D

Nice. I had a similar install scenario. I left the keys with family and Graeme arranged install with them.

This was my 4th weekend in a row of using the gfc. Very happy with it. There are a few minor nitpicks I posted previously, but very happy overall and worth it so far.

Graeme did say he will be heading out east shortly after this delivery run. He is a beast! Hope you will get yours soon!

It was just a metric sourcing issue. We've actually made those bolts 5/16-18 now as well and switched to a zinc plated cap screw there. The ones you have are M8 but new mounting T-nuts are 5/16 so that every bolt on the lower portion is the same.

I don't have the exact number but very recently, so probably not more than a couple of campers at this point.

Haven't been through a car wash but I've pressure washed it with no problems.

They advertise it as install and leave it on. Clearly it’s designed to withstand car washes.

Hey man, i used to work at a nice carwash for a few years. Those things aren't exactly gentle. Saw more than a few things that "should handle a carwash" have a rough time.

    Yikes

    That’s no good.

In other news, Elise emailed me today. Part of it was that the solar fan has been discontinued. Not because it doesn’t work, more so it hasn’t been found to be needed i guess. No other details.

Haven’t pulled any bolts out on mine. Now I might. I assume that is a vertical bolt accessed from underneath for attaching the top? Any hint of rust visible before removal?

I just plugged the threaded inserts with stainless buttonhead bolts and added d-rings to the upper ones.

All bolts should be stainless (see edit below). I might poke around at the hardware store for some replacements.

    Edit:
Stainless bolts are a bad idea in terms of strength. There is a reason gfc choose grade 8 fasteners that are not stainless.
