So i have been posting asking tons of ?s and reading a lot.
So my long travel seems to have .75" longer shaft then a stock 2003 tundra cv axle and 2.25" longer over all then a stock 2003 tundra axle. ( i measured at O' Rileys and Napa theirs coming in at 28" 28.25" )
So wtf do i have (he welded in a bar/brave ti extended axle)
So Can i run a shorter stock tundra axle and not have to change my lca and uca?
Anyone in San Diego area rebuild CV axles since it seems aren't too bad?

Yes thats what he did, except did it to modified tundra axles its not the tacoma tripod design.
Im having that one rebuilt and then will do the same to some other modified tundra axles.
Has held up well for me thus far,
wish they were just stock tundra length tho be easier to swap...

    So update,
I understand some people may want to buy premade modified Tundra axles with longer boots ready to go, and me like most rather not spend the 999.00 that total chaos cost.
So we can make our own, we can use the boots from either Kartek or Off Road Solutions
    OR
We can just buy some already made from CVJ axles, cut and modified with longer inner CV boots.
So as seen my shaft was cut and welded in, and is set at 18.75" a stock 1st gen tundra shaft is 18" I had CVJ machine a groove to add another .5" of shaft length. (This is crazy as a guy selling a +2 axle for a 2nd Gen Tundra measured 19.5" i believe which means stock is 17.5?)

Oh and i forget to mention a modified CVJ axles are only about 200.00 bucks with a core, OEM only is accepted from my understanding.
