    Mexican plates, so that means the owner drove it over the border...

    @ALI3N_123 and @Jamesboy2233 live in Texas and see Mexican-market vehicles in their home state all the time. I once saw a 1990s Chevy 1500 with Jalisco (Mexico) plates while in OKC myself...

    I've seen Sinaloa, Tamaulipas, Jalisco, Distrito Federal, Guerrero, and San Luis plates all over the U.S. The neighboring mexican state on the other side of the border is Tamaulipas. This is what their plates roughly look like. If they're green, the vehicle was bought in Mexico, if the plates are red, the vehicle was imported used into Mexico from the U.S., or Canada. In this case, this Tacoma was made for the mexican market.
