I only hate on them because ive never seen a good one in person. They are all either some beat up pos or riced out.

Those AMC V8s sound badass! I have been helping my neighbor tear apart his CJ5 for a frame off. He has a built 304 to go in the finished one

 

Back in my old hood there was a guy who right hand drive swapped his miata

 

They're fun and I see them in good condition all the time on CL because there's just so many of them out there that it doesn't matter if you destroy a few.

Full size jeeps did, they were easily swappable in place of the 304

I thought about 1UZ swapping the YJ, there's a video of one that's swapped on youtube and it's rippy enough to lift a tire in 1st.

It has 100 more hp and 110 ~ more torque than the motor in there and only weighs 50lb more
