I would like to come back down sometime for just a day trip with only the truck. If your interested. I know it’s probably nothing exciting to you since you’ve been all over those mtns but it might be a fun day. You, me, maybe @PyritePirateBill, @Truggin and some older guys I’d like to do Union springs but not with the camper

    Good Morning

Processed backstraps/tenderloins/neck & rib meat yesterday. Tubbed it into freezer. Quarters are hanging in Randy's garage with windows open and fans keeping them cooled. Appts today and Wednesday, we'll process the quarters Thursday and Friday mornings. We're tubbing everything into the freezer from these two; our group still has two more tags to fill if the local hunt (90 mins north of us) odds improve and quotas aren't filled before we figure out a strategy.

Slept from 8PM to 11:30PM. Awake so cleaning guns and gear. Game bags soaking in Oxi-Clean in garage deepwell sink. Run them up to local laundry mat in morning. Caught hell from Kristi last December when I washed game bags in her fancy machine here at the house. I'll pick a different battle, not gonna win that one.
    Back to sorting more gear.

    Hope all are well.
    :fingerscrossed:

About the only hurdle I have is my CDL physical in the spring. As long as I pass that I'm good. So we are going to talk about "wellness" in the sense of being able to function clearly and keep my job. But I guess we need to see this round of numbers 1st.

You all have a good day!

    Attaboy!

... Or as the Duke said it, "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do."

Between active duty and this civil service gig, I had two months terminal leave. I started doing all sorts of "stuff" around the house...when the Lowes bill arrived, Kristi stated bluntly, "old man you gotta go back to work."
That stuff around the house gets expensive. ;)

Enjoy your vacation, good luck when you start the new gig, I know you'll do great.
