    In the market for a front bumper (and rear at some point) and wanted the TW opinion on going with STEEL or ALUMINUM?

    Thoughts please.

    Steel rear. Front doesn't really matter. The weight difference isn't all that much. My personal opinion is it's too much money for aluminum bumpers to save ~60lbs.

    I went with aluminum because I don’t do much hardcore wheeling anymore. I also live in the Midwest so not having to worry about rust is nice. Aluminum is less weight too. If I did a lot of wheeling and really needed the protection, I would have bought steel. Without question.

    Aluminum won't rust and its a little lighter, but its more expensive, its your call op.
