Took my truck in to get the ECU update, and to address the squeaking I thought was coming from my body mounts.

I typically heard the squeaking when the body was rocking back and forth, or I was braking. Every day pulling into my driveway I would hear this.

When the service tech told me over the phone what they did to fix it I scoffed, and thought here we go. Got the truck back to find out they had replaced the fuel pump sub assembly. Jumped on my sliders to rock it back and forth so I could hear the squeak and go butch slap their mechanic. Nothing.

Pull into the driveway. Nothing. Step on the brakes pretty hard. Nothing.

Anyone else had this done? Did it sound like a squeaky body mount or leaf springs?

Thanks for furthering the conversation with your insight. Thread resolved. My inquiry is pointless. Move along everyone.
