I've got a DCLB and I'm looking for a secure bed cover (Bakflip?). I like to ride bikes, so I'm interested in mounting my front rail to it for my Rocky Mounts. (I've seen it done in several posts)

I've been told that some of the folding bed covers might only last 2-3 years. o_O
    What's your experience with this?
    Pics would be great!

Also I'm curious for those that have mounted your front rail for MTB's, How's it holding up long term?

Mine is a TonnoPro tr-fold and at a 1-1/2 years looks perfect. My father's TonnoPro Trifold on his 2011 tundra since more or less new ~7years and still holding up well.

What made you choose the rollup vs folding?

I would think the hard tonneaus would last a long time. The vinyl ones might not last as long.

I had a Gator Tri-fold that I sold after 1 year. It was used all the time and still in good shape when I sold it. I sold it as it was a temporary stop gap until I could a afford a topper.

I like the fact that I can roll it up and have full use of my bed without my rear window being blocked. Just convenience, super quick and easy. It’s not as secure as the hard cover, but it covers everything. Nobody will just cut it to see if any is even in there

New OEM tonneau lasted a week, then UPS demolished it during shipping. Never ship an EBay sale item that big.

It looks good, only thing keeping me from getting one is that you cant put large items in the bed due to its opening angle limitations. :(

The panels come off pretty quick or you can snap the struts off and fold one of them back all the way.

Fold a cover, Spacers, Scan Guage II, Weather Tech Vents, All weather floot mats, mod sideview towing mirrors, tow package, mod differential. LED back up lights, Flyzeye console/glove compartment lights, heavy duty farm seat covers, TSC bed mat.
Fold a cover on 2015 TRD OR. Still looking great. Fantastic for my purposes.
