    Hey JLink,
Our drawers on the long bed version extend a total of 43". Your drawers are going to be 64" in a long bed version. So you will have about 21" of drawer that does not extend, which is that concern you are raising about things you can't reach. It's typically not an issue with how most people use their drawers. And a lot of people will use the D-Box as a way to fill the back end of the drawer with some segmented storage that is easy to reach. But to be clear, there is a space that depending on the lift on your Taco and the length of your arms, could put things at the very back a stretch away.
    Hope that helps!

    Thanks for the info Greg!

I was wondering if a D box could fit in the space that is “out of reach”, so thanks for mentioning that. I didn’t know if the D boxes could slide back there or if they have to be dropped into place.

I think I might be sold! Any chance of a Tacomaworld discount? @TheDECKEDGuy

Once holes are drilled and this is installed, how long do you think it would take to remove the system if you left the mounting points installed?

For instance, if I wanted my bed to be deep again for moving furniture, so I wanted to remove the system and then put it back in after, would that be a fair amount quicker than the initial install?

Maybe an hour? Absolutely no longer than two, but I’d venture to say an hour or so.

That is probably about right, at least the first time. I think you could get it down to 15-20 mins once you had done it once. It's much much easier than the install.

Apologies for the long delay in reply. I've been out of the office, which means I am way behind!

    Hey Overkill,
We actually improved that step with a new rubber gasket/nylon washer combo. Contact our warranty@decked.com address and they can send you out a set which you will like much better!

I'm contemplating this set up. So, your scoped long gun will not fit in the sliding drawers?

I’m glad I watched that. So did I catch 2 times they said “recycled materials”? The HDPE and the Aluminium? That’s awesome. Made in America and helping to recycle. ♻️

I really need to order one of these.

I know the inside width from bed rail to bed rail is the same, but the wheel wells are obviously different.

@TheDECKEDGuy I might have missed it, but what is the overall weight for a short bed tacoma decked system?
