What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Did either of you happen to do a write-up of your efforts? How much time did it take a can you give a little more details on what difference you notice from before and after?

 

Here's who I followed to do my sound deadening. Great write up and the sound deadening starts on page 4. I did roof last and didn't notice a whole lot of difference. I think because I have sunroof but still made a difference. Back and doors made a big difference but I also did floor. Time wise I'm not sure as it was in stages.

Thank you for the info. I am trying to decide if it makes sense to do this to my 2nd Gen. Are the instructions they provide for installation detailed and easy to follow or does the company just give you what you need and it is up to you to figure out where to put everything?

 

Getting the interior out is up to you. Installing the product is just clean surface, apply, press a nod roll with small roller.

 

While getting the interior out is a big job, it does not intimidate me. I was more asking about the placement of all of the various pieces of sound deadening material. Do they provide instructions where all those little pieces are supposed to go? The best order to install the bits and pieces they provide, etc.

 

They recommend 40% coverage but I did 90-95%. Everything is cut to fit. If I could get a piece in there easily I covered any bare metal.

Late post. I did this last week. New F5's. A before and after shot too.

 

Added Eibach coils and shocks up front and OME Dakar’s w/ Fox 2.0’s out back. Ride’s a ton better than stock!

 

Primed the CaliRaisedLED sliders. Will bed liner then Thursday, and hopefully Saturday get them installed. Should also get my Bilstein 5100s and AAL Friday so I'll work on that this weekend too .

 

Had husky liners in a 2011 tundra that I just traded in on a 2018 trd off road taco. Best liners out there. Carpets looked brand new when I traded it in.

 

New headlights, now it looks freaking pissed!
