Used on seats and carpet. It works great on shoes so giving it a try in truck. This stuff has worked really well with basic spills and such that come with a daily driven vehicle and one that is on a farm as well. It has allowed small stuff to really just bead up and off instead of soaking in so made cleanup much easier. I definitely recommend especially for the little money one of these cans cost.

Where did you order this from? And if you don't mind me asking, how much was it?

eBay and I got it for $100!! Fit is great. Did purchase factory sensor garnish which snapped right in. I tapped two of the existing screws in garnish for a factory and very solid fit and finish.

No difference in sound at all except for maybe WOT. Cut a little up from hanger after axle. Welded an Akropovic Carbon Tip for some aesthetics and it's visible through wheel well which is cool! Back of truck looks much cleaner in my opinion.

    2.5" ID Inlet
    3.5" ID Tip
Was originally a clamp on but I cut off clamp and welded. Purchased tip for $55. They can be found online on a few sites such as eBay.

    Knurled Radio Knob Upgrade

This is a well worth upgrade. The knurls give a nice feel but what I look even more is the actual thickness. The added depth gives my Italian fingers more grip without accidentally constantly hitting the screen changing anything other than my intended desire. Worth every penny!

How do you like the ride after your new suspension? And what load is your tires?

I'm really liking the new suspension over the factory OR. It has much better road manners and more comfortable. Plus with the discounts on these kits I don't think you can get better for the money. I'm happy I went with the Baja Spec too as I do plan on adding some weight to front. The Falkens are Standard or SL rated.

TRD Baja Kit with JBA UCA's 1/2 inch spacer on top, Medium Dakars with BAMF hangars and super bumps all around. 285/75/16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's on graphite TRD faux beadlock wheels. Pro skid powder coated black with Pelfreybilt aluminum mid skid and aluminum gas tank skid.
I like your setup it looks good. I have the Baja kit on mine with a 1/2 inch spacers up front and a Toytec (Deaver) 3 leaf AAL with over load left in and I got 2 up front and about 2 1/2 in the rear. I love the ride it's so much better than stock. I was a little worried about it coming with the 650lb springs but no complaints here and my wife likes the ride. She was worried it was going to be soft and top heavy like my old Jeep LJ. I still need tires but they will come in time. Did you use the bump stops that came with the kit? I did Wheelers super bumps all around with a u-bolt flip kit in the rear and they are really nice.

    Thanks

I did not use bumpstops in kit as they looked identical to ones on truck so didn't see need to swap. I'm looking to do some type of AAL or full leaf pack in future for sure. I get a good amount of sag with little weight in bed. I have not towed with it yet.

Painted Factory Tow Hook. It actually pops more than I thought it would. Works well with the red coils and decals though.

Digging thru older threads and I just gotta say - great truck! I'm taking delivery of my new '18 Sport in the same color and honestly hope it comes out looking just like yours in a year.

Which spacers did you use up front? Guessing the are above the shock body? Spacers usually end up adding more height than the depth of the spacer. Thinking about adding spacers to mine, but not sure if I should use 1" toytec in coil spacers or something smaller above the coil.

Also, if you're looking for a new spring pack, I'd recommend Icon RXT leaf springs. They are adjustable, so you can tweak it based on the ride performance and the gear you have in the back of your truck. Not a bad setup if you have the money for a full leaf pack.

    Brake Upgrade

After some mileage on the Tacoma and a few tow trips with it...started noticing a lot of brake dust and wasn't too confident in braking as they seem to fade quick with some weight. So I figured I'd try doing minor upgrade and report back for you guys so you know. Rotors are by ATE and pads are Stoptech Street. Mileage installed is 16500. I'll report back with updates after some usage and testing.

    Brake Upgrade Update:

After putting about 3k miles on brakes and two loaded trials on them I can say I'm happy with them but not thrilled. I'm sure a more aggressive pad would give me the results I want though. Pads are low dust and zero noise but not a ton a bite. Normal driving these feel like factory brakes but less dust. What these have offered is more resistance to fading with weight or frequent stops. Less fade and less dust are both great...just wish had a bit more bite but again a different pad I'm sure would get me that.

These are great and highly recommend over most aftermarket units especially ones for similar money. Rugged and have had no issues with water leaks of any kind. Very easy to use.

    HPS AIR INTAKE REVIEW

This is probably a general review for all intake setups for a Tacoma as well as a some specifics on the HPS. Install was very straightforward and came with fairly good directions to make it a simple process. No tune is required for this setup and I had no issues with a CEL while running it. First thing you notice after install is the throttle response is noticeably better than factory. I didn't notice much of a difference and gas mileage. Truck overall felt a little more eager than before especially in the upper rpm range. I'm overall very easy on my truck and the wife drives it most but even she noticed a difference in throttle response. What we both didn't care for was the noise...it is a loud system. I believe the all metal airbox increases the noise some. It was too loud honestly and I knew it would get old quick so I removed and sold. Id imagine if running an exhaust as well it would not be as bad. Quality of the HPS was very good though. Powdercoat was well done and everything fit nicely. They use good hardware throughout kit and a K&N Filter though I would have preferred a Dry Filter but K&N is a great brand. I have installed a handful of HPS Intakes on vehicles and always been happy with fit and finish so would recommend this brand.
