Ouch! I know exactly how you're feeling. Check the rear of the frame for any damage. Hope you're okay. But on the brighter side, you're in great company knowing that you helped take another crappy GM off the road.

Was the whole bed pushed forward or is the damage contained to the rear quarter panel?

Have a HC. Have a swing out. Can be two swing outs if you wish. Our swing out design is flexible enough to be mirrored to the other side. No one has really asked for one.

I know exactly how you feel. The Tacoma stock bumpers can't take much abuse. Mine was hit in the same corner by a F150 with a ranch guard going less than 10mph and totaled the bumper but luckily there were no other damage. The stock color matched would've been about $1200. The other driver agreed to buy me my current body armor rear bumper as a replacement at $450. I consider myself lucky because the driver didn't know that his boss's truck insurance had lapse when I tried filing the claim but he also didn't want it reported to prevent a hike in insurance rates. He ended up just giving me cash to buy the bumper. The other truck that pushed him into me left the scene. With your more extensive damage, I hope the other driver has insurance.

INSURANCE TIME! When you get the insurance quote, make sure they cover the bed side, replace the plastic top caps ( they tend to snap the clips upon removal ) and get a completely new "OEM" bumper assembly. Should be over 1K for sure!!!!

It was pushed forward, side panel bend in around the gas cap, guess that was the weak spot.

Exactly. I was about to ask if you had checked to see if your bed shifted. Look between the bed and cab for any damage.
