Just got back from getting my 10K service on my '17 TRD Sport 4X4 6 speed manual. I eliminate two problems that "us" pedal guys have been experiencing, stumble between 2nd and 3rd gear shift between 1500 and 2500 rpms when engine is cold, and the clutch pedal squeak. I asked the Service Advisor to check his TSBs about the stumble. He wrote my issue up along with the clutch squeak for the Tech to check.

Solutions indicated, TSB said my Engine ECU Calibration was outdated. Reprogrammed ECU, Operation TC1601. Also Clutch Bushing needed to be greased.

Results, Truck accelerates much quicker, no more engine stumble between 2nd and 3rd gear shift, and clutch no longer squeaks. Truck performs totally different.....so I hope this new tread "cuts to the chase" for other with this problem! Kudos to Koons Toyota of Annapolis. Great place to buy and have my Tacoma serviced!

Nice to hear everything worked out. My 18 month service is coming up, I skipped the 12 month since really didn't drive much. Maybe I'll have them update the ecu, but really hate going to the dealer.
