Which part of the leaf spring faces the front of the truck?

It's less Tacoma and more mod
The main eye, take a pic of the top of the least, they usually have an arrow. Usually the bigger hole goes forward tho

Everyone has their own method I guess - I went with:

front hangar first while resting on perch, attach shackle end then use ratchet strap as a come along to line up and drop the center pin.

When I take it apart for the AAL, might try one of the others.

@Sperrunner just get a marlin crawler crawl box youre building it, make it great from the get go haha

    So harsh haha
smaller bushings are for the shackles. Shackles have two diff size bushings. the front eye-lit bushings will be big and you cant mistake that package

    No
no put the fromt eyelit bushings in first on the leafs. Attach that to the frame then attach the shackle to the truck and the leaf pretty much at the same time. When you get there you will understand. DO NOT attach the leaf to your axle prior to any of this

oh, and @BartMaster1234 , trust me when I say to do the following:

    1. Jack up the rear until you are at full droop.
    2. Once at full droop, pump the jack 2 - 3 more times. You'll need the clearance. jack stands under the axle for support, then proceed to do 1 side at a time.

If you run into major issues and need help, shoot me a PM. We are in the same city. Just know I'm going to clown you big time :smack:

    lol

I’m running out of daylight to put the lift on today. I’m just prepping the leaf springs in the meantime.

    Look, I did something!

And where is the front of the leaf spring? I can’t tell.

If you do the axle last it won't necessarily line up with the center pin and you have to try and work the axle into place, at least that happened to me both times I put mine in. Moving the axle isn't easy esp if youve got it supported with stands or a jack. Easiest way I found was to do that first, attach ubolts loose-ish and don't torque them, then line up the main eye than the rear shackles.

They came out pretty easy once I started hammering the shit out of them. Haha.
