    Beautiful truck.
Any issues with rubbing with the 265/75 and the offset of the rays10 on stock suspension?

Just the front flaps. I took them off shortly after getting them mounted. Now I am saving for the lift.

I really love your wheels, I would just like to try an 18" if I decide to keep the truck. Whats the difference between the offset and back spacing? I would like to have the stance maybe 1\4" or 1\2" wider...

Do they make it in an 18" size? And offset/backspacing are directly related to each other. You use the wheel width and offset to calculate the backspacing. If you wanted an 8" wide wheel with more poke, you'd be trying to find one with -12mm offset.

Just picked up my 2018 TRD Sport from the local 4x4 shop. They installed 18x9 Fuel Assaults wrapped with 285/60r18 Terra Grapplers. It's not lifted, but only minor trimming to the inner plastic fender well in the rear was needed. Also removed the front mud guards for clearance. I love the way it turned out. I wanted just slightly bigger due to all the garages I have to park in. Also glad the tech, who built a Jeep for me a few years back, talked me out of going with 20s.

All that's left on my build list is a 30-inch LED bar from Rough Country for the front bumper. And then I'm done. Probably.

PS: Is there a market for lightly used sport wheels and tires (with about 4k on them)? Or should I just hang onto them?

Anybody running 255/85 R16 on a 3rd gen with a 2” OME lift? I want to know if these will rub. The current 265/75’s don’t run at all and the 255/85’s are 1.5” taller, but .5” skinnier.

I came from 265/75s, did 255/85s BFG KM2s. I had Bora 0.75” spacer and had very minimal rub in the front. So minimal I never heard or noticed it until one day I noticed some of the dirt was rubbed away on the inner fender well in the front. This was out while off-roading. Never had it rub in town ever anywhere going forward or backwards. I slapped some 1” spacers on it and have had a remote experience of it rubbing on the cab mount on one side only. I was pretty much trying to make it rub. Did 1” spacers trying to figure out what offset I would like in a rim. I believe a important factor on rubbing is in alignment. Initially when I did suspension work to the truck the alignment was done per factory settings. I had rub with the 265/75s under harsh conditions with rokblokz mudguards. I took it into a dedicated off-road shop and had them do the alignment setting the caster to 3 degrees. This changed everything in a positive way, no more rub.

    My setup:
-stock TRD OR rims (for now) with 1” spacer made by BORA
    -BFG KM2s 255/85r16
    -OME 888 springs/bilstein 5100
-OME Dakar HD leaf pack/RCD 5100s
    -JBA high caster control arms

Is the spacer a must? I really don’t want my tires sticking out past the fenders. Also, how did you mount your spare?

Spacers are not a must. It seems like I hear about people having more problems with them in this tire size. Bend some tabs get under your truck while raising the spare and it fits. Somewhere in this forum some people talk about doing it. Just make sure it clears the rear diff and exhaust.
